Be SUPER Cool. Take the SUPER Plunge
Join an elite group – those who have taking the SUPER PLUNGE! So, what is the difference between the Super Plunge and a traditional Polar Plunge? Super Plunges commit to taking 24 icy dips in 24 hours to support the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. That’s right. 24 dips. And, with the Create Your Own Super Plunge option, you can take those icy dips however you would like (safely, of course). So register and kick off your fundraising today to make this a more inclusive world tomorrow.

Polar Plunge locations?
You do have the option to Create Your Own Polar Plunge - which might mean a local group, business, or police department is hosting a community event. Or, you could come up with your own way to Create Your Own Polar Plunge (safely, of course).

Each region across the state is hosting a Create Your Own Plunge option. So, if you can’t join us in person, you can still support the athletes. Just click the region that covers your area of the state, then click register, and you can get started by starting your team, joining an existing team, or registering as an individual. Plungers who choose to Create Your Own Plunge will still receive one of the coveted Polar Plunge sweatshirts. All donation must be received no later than March 28, 2024, then your sweatshirt will be mailed to you in late April.
